Just made my 2nd run on speedway, the number of laps went down but I did manage to get a sub 7 lap in!

What happened on lap #1?

Well, I'm done. I just don't have the speed to compete with you Randy. At least I had a pretty clean race. Ran out of gas 20 feet from my pit box. probably cost me 10 seconds and provisional 2nd place. Oh well.

Damn Randy, I was really hoping my 109 would have held out. I can hope for second and may nob will bomb.

That was close Josh!

I know man! 2 flippin' seconds! If ya'll notice I only pitted twice for fuel. I did not pit for tires this run but my times were off of what I managed practicing yesterday. I never even got below a 7.3 the entire run. My setup sucks I guess.

Actually I am done with Speedway this week. Or at least I was until Boyd called me Nob. Now I have no choice but to bump him down to 3rd. LOL

Dropping you down to 4th will be a bonus. :green-grin:

Thats cool Mandy.

Hey Rob... I know this may sound like asking for A LOT of cheese. But just one suggestion. Could we possibly tone down the AI speed a bit at the road course events? I've been practicing quite a bit and tuning my setup and finding substantial time and comfort but I still cannot actually race the AI cars for more than 2 laps at best and honestly all I'm doing is holding them at bay by stealing their lines. I do not have an issue with the AI speed at RCS because I can actually race them sometimes and I realize I'm also off the pace a bit compared to our front-runners. I honestly don't think any of us are really matching the AI at the road events, at least not at Boss Speed unless you guys are hitting consistant 18 sec.?.?.

Finished my Boss runs. All in all I'm real happy with how I did this week. Kinda finally feel like I'm getting a rhythm.

Hey Rob, is the AI speed the same at every race? I realized thati was comparing myself to the way I was setting up my practice runs, which was 100% club. Not sure if the race settings are close to that or not. I set myself that way cuz the last race seemed pretty fast. I just find it more fun if we are competitive with the AI and since the competition amongst us is so close this season we are all pretty close to the same level I think.

AI speeds vary.

In general they are 5pts higher than the grip setting on Speedway and 5pts lower than grip on the road courses. Always club level.

I will tone them down a bit on future races.

In the Championship it worked out well since the grips were higher. Now with the lower grips, I will have to make adjustments.

OK

I made adjustments on the future races that are created.

Thanks Rob. We'll see if that makes a difference in the racing. I hope it will be a bit more fun to race the AI.

*edit*

I wish they allowed more variation with that. I mean it would be cool if you could set it up like 2 cars were 95%, 2 were 93% and 2 was 91%. That would be cool. Just sayin'

Hey Rob.. any interest in posting the laptime charts/graphs I used to put together? I've been trying to figure out a new graph that would give a better visual clue as to how our elapsed times compare as if we were racing live. Sort of a manufactured race on paper using our real times.

Note to self....always remember to charge the transmitter LiPo.

Low voltage alarm went off 6 laps into my 2nd Speedway run. Had no choice but to cancel the race.:(

I tried/wanted to, but never figured out how you were doing it.

If they are created, I will post them up.

It was nice to see and will be great to see for the '11 Championship where it gets serious. The field is really starting to tighten up.

If you don't want to do it, Randy or I will give it a shot if you willing to let us know how it's done.
