No practice yet for me, just got done watching Hot Tub Time Machine, hella funny imo. Prolly do alittle in a bit, I kinda forgot about both series running till I went to the club page.

Right now all I want to do is look at the inside of my eyelids.

I was rode hard and put away wet this past weekend.

Yay for fast shipping! Got my adapter today, been practicing for the last hour, still need to get my setups down, at least for oval.

I have trouble with cutting the left side back curve on it.

Yeah, that's a tricky spot I'm happy just to keep in on track right there. I think you generally have to brake a little earlier than you would if it where straight since you sort of have to turn in earlier. I dunno, I've always braked early at that spot and try to make up time on othe sections of the track like the slight right/left entering the carousel.

Pete,I'm glad to see you're going to race since you hadn't said anything lately. Josh and Alien, glad to hear you're going to try for them all! I haven't turned on my controller since the season ended,I'd better start getting some practice in.

I just destroyed my first run, had so many mess ups and never found a grove but atleast got the first run of the season done lol.

I'm going to do my best to run all of the races but I still have a lot of things going on right now. The oval races take less time to prepare for so I'm pretty sure I'll run all of them but I might miss a road coarse or two.

There's no points for that :p:

dangit! lol. I ran my first on speedway too and my car vanished on the first pit for like 15 or 20 seconds then I ran outta fuel with only a few seconds left trying to squeeze out till the end.

Run #1 on speedway is in...Crashed on the first lap, ran out of fuel on the first pit and had to turn around on the second pit, overall not a bad first run LOL

I'll be dead honest, I probably will not be much of a points threat for any championships as I don't intend to put in a whole lot of practice outside of the runs. I don't mind running mid-pack as long as there a couple guys I can race. Maybe I'll be more competitive as the season progresses but I was pretty rusty the last time I turned on my controller. It's all good though. I just want to participate :)

22 laps in 14.32 minutes at Halifax. Doesn't really help that I would hit the wall every time I crossed the start line because I would get "Invalid Floating Point Operation" and I'd have to click it off, then try to get going again.

I'll try the oval, but I think my season just ended abruptly. Reading the VRC forums, they've been working on this bug for years, and still have no clue what they are doing.

that stinks man, i didnt even get to get on there in the past 3 nights but tonight I'm gonna put in a few hours, and get a car dialed in for the first run. I need to get two in actually, one for oval and one for the road courses.

I ran the oval pretty good (at least I thought so). Definitely more consistent than what I was doing in practice. I'm practicing again, hoping I can get my setups figured out so I can run a second round.

If I run a second round, does that mean my first round gets scratched?

Yes the first run would be scratched. The last run you put in will be the one that counts! You will still be able to see the results from your previous runs but only the last run will count...Don't' DNF your last run!

If you go back and read through this thread some of the vets gave the newbs (me) some good advise on car set ups. Rob gave a good link on page 2 and later told me to do some adjusting on the front and rear anti roll bar......Rear blade all the way to the right and front blade somewhere around the middle, that was a great starting point for me.
