Won the auction for the adapter, guy had it on $5 minimum, $10 buy it now, I posted the minimum, won, got it for $10 shipped.

How long do we get to make up the first race? It may be a few days before I get it in the mail.

Race starts monday but doesn't end until Sunday night. So you have all week to make a run or all three runs for each series. Remember though, once you start a run, thats it, it will count, so try not to DNF a run, that will result in 0 points, even if the run totally sucks, finishing it will atleast get you points.

Great! It'll be fun having more racers

Actually,a DNF received last place points per number of entries during the previous season. So if there were 6 entrants, a DNF would get sixth place points. I assume it will still be that way for the winter.

DNF is just if you quit, right? I've done some pretty serious crashes in practice, and haven't wrecked out yet.

You can't wreck out.

A DNF is if you quit the race.

Tomorrow is the first race guys. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though I only expect to come in last, or 2nd to last. I need to try and dial in a car tonight, or tomorrow after school because I have no clue what to do with any of the adjustments on them. I tried a few laps on boss speed with the 200mm touring car and man, they weren't made for turning radius were they? I HATE the handling on them.

Hopefully I get my adapter soon! I'd like to get some practice time, and not have to race with my keyboard.

I raced one week with my keyboard and did about as good as I do with a radio, the keyboard is less sensitive imo.

Since they are 4wd, you have to tinker with you setup to gain more steering.

Winter season is go!

I am interested in seeing who can make all 32 races and win the $25 GC with the highest points total.

I got to work at 7 this morning and it starting flat out pouring rain which killed any work for today so I'm in the house so I'll prolly try to get some practice in and make a run.

I was just doing a little practice myself. I got a pretty fast set up where I was running fairly consistant 6.7s and 6.8s several 6.6s in there too. However it will cause me to have to pit one more time than with my other set up. In a 12 min race I just don't think I can make up for the pit time with the faster set up.

One more thing I was thinking about too Rob. Since the current set up is last run counts, rather than best of three, which imo is the best way to do it, then the fast lap should come from the run that counts, and not the best of the three runs. If not I could run my fast set up first to try for fast lap bonus while not really caring about consistancy, then switch to the slower set up to go for the win. I don't think that would be fair.

That is an option that all racers have if they want to throw away a run.

They just have to hope they don't boot the second run and have it come down to a final run.

That's what i did for a lot of races over the summer Joe. Don't let it bother you, just do what it takes to get the most points :D

I made a few practice runs on speedway last night, my batteries died about 5 minutes in and it was a relief! The batteries are charging and my goal it to beat Joe in oval series!

Play with the adjustments and it will turn...Last season I had it turning so hard it would traction roll in tight corners!

Bring it on!

OH I'm gonna bring it!
