After the last 2 road courses which were tough, I am looking forward to Speedway this week.

I had to put in a lot of practice the last 2 weeks. It will be nice to just take one practice session to find out where I will run out of fuel and then go for it.

Round 8 - Heemstede​

Round 8 at Heemstede marks the half way point of the season! After 2 consecutive big wins,this week Racer 1966 is met with problems getting up to speed leaving the door open for robmob. robmob jumps through the open door to take the win by a full lap over the second place effort of Racer 1966. Along the way robmob also lays down the fastest lap of the race.

Back in the pack there was little fighting for position amongst the rookies as they all had troubles finding a groove. SMaxxin proves to be the best of the rest to take that 3rd podium position followed by slowngreen and NCNitro, 4th and 5th respectively.

abadk9420 and darkslayor24 failed to start the race this week however another veteran VRC racer,Lessen, returned to competition. After a strong start,Lessen met with major problems and his return was diminished to DNF. With his credentials,we all know Lessen will be a factor in the rest of the season and could really shake up the points.

Looking at the points here at the half-way point,Racer 1966 hangs on to the lead my a slim 1 point margin over robmob. 4th place slowngreen edges a couple of points closer to the 3rd place of NCNitro followed by Smaxxin. Then slipping farther away is abadk9420 and the upstart of darkslayor24.

With another veteran on the track, the second half could get really crazy and it starts at the always difficult Sao Paulo track. On with the racing!

Round 9 - San Paulo​

As the second half of the season kicks off at Sao Paulo,we see some expected shuffling in the race results and the points. robmob continues his roll and takes the win again this week. The big surprise(or is it?) is returning veteran Lessen gets to play spoiler and holds off Racer 1966 to take the 2nd place finish. While holding off Racer 1966,slowngreen looked to be a contender too but then problems dropped his hopes and he ends with another DNF. More noteworthy though,slowngreen turns in the fastest lap of the race by nearly .3 sec over anyone else fastest lap.

That DNF opened the door for darkslayor24. He slips around SMaxxin to take the 4th place finish. The best finish so far for darkslayor24. SMaxxin struggles but manages to maintain a 5th place finish.

Once again,abadk9420 does not show for the race. Also NCNitro fails to start this week. It appears that due to struggles on the road courses,these two have resigned to only be running the ovals for the rest of the season.

In the points,taking the win and with Lessen playing the spoiler, robmob regains the lead by 2 over Racer 1966. With the no show of NCNitro and with the fast lap bonus,slowngreen takes over 3rd and drops NCNitro into a tie with SMaxxin for 4th place. abadk9420 remains in the 5th place position while the second place finish boosts Lessen ahead of darkslayaor24 for sixth.

Next week it's back to the oval and what should be an exciting race. Everyone should be there, Race On!

I can't get mine to do anything passed log in.

It just shows an error like my net wasn't working but I'm on here just fine as well as uploaded a pic in photobucket just fine.

Rob, is there any way for me to get another chance on running my final run? This is what happened to me about 2 minutes into the run...

Which just froze the game.

I can't add a run to the current event.

What I did was create a duplicate event with your name on it. It will start in 1/2 an hour and will consist of 1 run. The end time is the same.

You can either run it, or choose not to and keep your 2nd run lap count and time. It's up to you.

Huge thanks Rob. I'll maybe hop on and try some dialy events to see if it has any more troubles first.

Any one have this problem happen? It said "invalid floating point".

Have you changed any display settings?

Any updates recently?

No I havent done anything.

Sometimes shutting down and rebooting will clear stupid problems up.

If it happens again, you may need to try reinstalling the software.
