Dam lloyd that was a heck of a run...Tht puts me out of the running for a descent finish!

I made my second run which I will sit on for now in hopes that Rob and Randy are the only ones that can beat it.

Great job! That's what I'm talking about!

You just may have yourself a 1st or 2nd place run there.

Awesome run Lloyd! 18.9 may get the fast lap this week,I don't know about Rob but I haven't ran that fast. I tried a run even though I'm not 100% ready. It turned to crap about the first pit stop but I kept running hard, thought I would try for the fast lap then ditch it if I didn't make it but it counted it anyway even with 36+ seconds left.

I won't be running this week, I am not at all enjoying these road courses one bit. Running 40 second laps is an embarrasment. I think I will just run the ovals, and maybe an occasional road course. Just not having fun so why bother. :\

I feel exactly the same way Joe, so I know where you are coming from:whhooo:, to me the only place a on road car would be for me is in a big A$$ parking lot where I can just haul A$$ and have fun, guess that is why I like off road and crawling so much...:D

That sucks Joe. Hope you can do it anyways. I dont like any of the tracks but I'm not going to give up, I'm to competitive even if its for last place I'm still gonna be there.

Actually Lloyd, I am tired of last place week after week on the road courses. It's really gotten old and unenjoyable for me, don't forget, I got last every road course I raced on last year too, it's just not clicking for me. I wish they offered a few oval options, I would start up an oval racing club.

That is EXACTLY what I do with my RS4 3. I enjoying just flying around a parking lot with it, but if I had to run it on uber technical tracks like we run on line I wouldn't bother with it at all.

I changed cars this week and it made a big difference for me personally.

Joe, I'll run if you run. I've been working 12 and 14 hour days this week and have absolutely no time for any practice and I'm very rusty to begin with. I think I might just throw in an old setup and see what I can do with no practice.

As mentioned earlier, the Winter Series will be adding 3 new road courses. Since it will be a 16 race series like the current Championship, 3 of the Speedway courses will be dropped to make room for the new tracks.

For you guys who seem to like to only turn left, I will also be running a Winter Oval Series at the same time. 16 races on Speedway with the usual varying of race times, grip and also AI's.

I will keep track of the points totals for both series. Guys can run in both, just one, part time in both or whatever.

Just keep having fun!

POINTS AWARDED
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 7 points
4th: 6 points
5th: 5 points
6th: 4 points
7th: 3 points
8th: 2 points

Bonus for fastest lap recorded: 1/2 point

-----------------------------------------------------------------

A DNF would equal the last place position for that particular race. So if there are only 3 racers, a DNF would be awarded 3rd.

Note that in order for a DNF to show up, you must complete at least one run. So if a racer logs 3 DNF's, no run will be shown and no points will be awarded.

In the event of a tie, the racers with the most higher placed finishes shall prevail.

Bravo Rob, thats a great idea. I'll prolly run both for gits and shiggles.

Need to run one or two with a hella low grip %, like driving on ice. Would be interesting to see who could stay calm the longest lol.

I probably will as well.

I may make the finale 45 minutes long. LOL

Oh yes. It will be Winter after all.

I wish I could vary the grip as a race wears on.

Hell yeah!!!!!!!! You da man Rob!!!

The longer races seem to do this automatically as the tires wear. I can't go more than 7-8 minutes without needing tires or the car gets undrivable..

Hopefully the other guys that Woodie gave games too will join for the winter series too.

Sissy!

I feel exactly the same way Joe,

X2

J/K But you really have to put some practice time in to do anything on a road course, how much effort are you putting in to it?

I know I've said it before but I sucked when I started,I'm just so competitive that I put in a ton of time to get up to speed last season. This season has been much better, just throw a setup in,practice a little, maybe make a tweak or two and race. Except this week,Lloyd has me worried :D

Hmm, I'll have to think about that one,the oval seems to get boring for me.
