looks like I won't have to run again to hold on to 3rd...Unless Joe pulls a rabbit out of his hat or Curtis makes a surprise run.

alright I'm done. Now I remember one of the reasons I stopped doing this.

[edit]

Screw this program. All I wanted was to make one last clean run. Dont' push it, just respectable times and no major mistakes. Yeah, that was fine until the car took on a mind of it's own. Car took a left turn and throttle stuck. F this. I'm gonna stick to video games.

What were YOU saying about cheese, who needs the cheese now?! :p:

I live in wine country so I have whatever you need for variety. Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Pinot, Muscat Caeilli, Petit Verdot....you name it, I have it.

Pinot please. If you could send some Chardonnay for the wife she'd really appreciate it. Mondavi Carbernet if there's extra room in the box. :)

I'd like to know what happend though. It just started doing doughnuts and I couldn't get it to stop. I usually run with my antennae only up about 6 inches and have never had an issue, but even when I extended it all the way up it didn't help the situation. The throttle meter at the bottom of the screen showed about 50% and the steering was obviously pegged to the one side. I don't get it.

Are you using an FM setup?

I just raised the bar by a couple of laps.

Fast lap stays the same. I was focusing on staying consistent to improve my laps.

The only bobble I had was when the wife barged in to toss some receipt on the desk right in front of the monitor. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, FM with my 3PK. I honestly think it might have been a software glitch. I can't understand why else it would do something so weird.

Same setup I am using.

Looks like you get this one Rob - congrats! I tried but I just couldn't get the speed, that 17.9 is the fastest laps I ran. Never broke into the 17's in practice and I could never pinpoint when my fuel stop needed to be so I took 2 to make sur I didn't run out at the end. I couldn't make them really clean either.

I've been having radio issues too Josh. I switched transmitters(same type) but still had a problem once since.

Thanks. I couldn't let you get too far away from me. ;)

I'm surprised you could not make it with only one pitstop. I set my pit stop at 6 minutes and made it easily. I was using the mid-mid-mid engine setup.

You guys may want to look for a source of interference someplace nearby.

Man the curve before the corner that turns onto the back long stretch on Brazil kicks my ass! Its like its hella slick or something, I can't ever make it.

I was thinking about making another run because I have been getting 36 laps in a low 12 min regular but 37 lap is out of reach for me....WooHoo :third_place:

The mid-mid-mid is what I was running tonight. I only practiced one 4 min run with it before racing. I was running a top -bottom -bottom engine before.

I don't know where to look for interference, everyone is in bed when I race and nothing else is on around me.

The few times I encountered issues was because I didn't have my antenna up enough. The antenna on the receiver I use was also coiled up too much so I made it so it has 6" dangling.

Haven't had a problem since as long as I extend my transmitter antenna up about 1/3.
