from what i have found, some rechargeable AA's are alittle shorter than normal. when you put the non-rechargeables in the battery connector tabs might have bent back (thats what they do for me) and now your shorter rechargeables are not contacting all the way. bend the tabs out alittle and see if that does anything

No, I've been using this same radio and battery combo for almost the entire time I've been running VRC. Never even a slight glitch from the radio until this started.

Just run it Randy, if it quits it quits :hehe: I have to run with a handicap every week too....

My driving!

:hehe: :hehe:

I put my first run in. Not at all pleased with it,but it's first for the moment. My tx batteries died crossing the finish line :hehe: We'll see if it holds but I seriously doubt it so I'll be ready to run some more tomorrow night.

Ok Rob,whatcha got for us?

P.S. I switched radios,no problems with signal loss/interference.

Damnit Joe! That was all I had for sure lol. You beat me by .021 seconds?

lol, i am rather enjoying my last place finish at speedway (i hate the keyboard) unfortunately i dont have heemsted so i am taking this week off! looking to run again next week:third_place:

It's a free track, click the file check link on the lower left corner when you first start up the game. It will check for updates and download all free tracks.

i have already tried that, and just did it again and still nothing. when i go into the vrc track list to download it from the sie it says i need track credits

So Rob's going to wait until the last minute so I can't come back after him huh?

Nope. Been too busy to even practice and to top it off my head feels like it's in a vice.

I just put in my first run which is an abortion. Spent more time on my lid than all the other races combined so I pretty much just gave up on it after my first pit when I overshot the refueling spot.

I'll try again later. I have a feeling I may be bagging this week though.

i think I'm going to email them about it

what other track should be free?

Here's the list I have:

Oslo
Speedway
Sydney
Fiorano
Luxembourg
Cincinatti 2002
Sao Paulo
Heemestede
Ft Meyers
Kakegawa
Stunt/Drift
Messina

Bummer - take some Advil and lay down a while. Not as much fun to win if I know you can't give your best effort :(

Almost really booted it.

I went to run again and decided to take a 4 minute practice run first. At the 3 minute mark my low voltage alarm went off. Sure glad I went to practice first. I would have had to DNF my second run with it going off so early in the race.

Off to charge the LiPo. Advil has already been taken. I will be back in a hour or so.

2nd run is in. 9 lap improvement over my first run, but I still am spending a lot of time on my lid. It didn't help that my transmitter hand went numb at about the 13 minute mark. I had to let off and flex a couple of times to get some feeling back to finish the race.

I believe this is the first time this season I put in a third run.

Son of a.....

I was en fuego for the first half of my last race. I wasn't trying to be quick. I just wanted to be consistent at 6.8-7.0 laps. Worked out really well. Got around all the AI's without touching one. Second half of the reace is when the trouble started. I got punted by an AI coming out of the pit and had one minor bobble when I was too tight to the inside before the next pit stop. Then I had all kinds of problems during the last 4 minutes. Hand went numb again and had to let off which cost me a lap. Hand went numb again at the 1 minute mark and just had to suck it up. I wish I had another run. I know 130+ laps can be achieved. BAAAAAAH!
