Oh man I suck at that track!!!! I suck at going fast but I think I'm way worse going slow lol.

Don't worry Lloyd, we'll be battling for last place bud, I suck at the on road tracks. I use to be good on the oval, but damn if Randy hasn't really stepped it up a notch on the oval.

LMAO, x2 with Joe. I have a huge problem with consistency. I might get a couple laps ok in a row but then totally bomb the next 5 or 6. Id say my car handles ok its just me not controlling it for crap, I almost always come into a corner (like on this weeks track) too fast and go off the track or I go to slow and turn to sharp and go off the track....

I managed to get in a pair of 12 minute practice runs yesterday after work. I will do at least one more before logging an official run hopefully this evening.

I'm gonna try driving with my feet, I know it won't be any worse than what I am doing now, lol.
Your not alone with being inconsistent, my fastest lap which was during practice was a high 18 second lap but my normal laps are around 20-23 seconds. When I get my timing right with the throttle and brake the car seems to roll seamlessly through the corners and I get a good time.....But I normally sliding into the corners and fishtailing out of them LOL
My best in practice is 18.8 and the planets aligned for me to get it. LOL
Sure glad I opted to run a practice race before I ran a real one today. My low voltage alarm went off on my transmitter at the 10 minute mark. Scared the crap out of me and I went off the track. The entire rest of the race my transmitter beeped and vibrated. Made it difficult to concentrate.

Got the LiPo charged back up and made a run.
Stretched the fuel a little too much and ran out just as I was entering pit lane to refuel for what would have been my first of 2 pits. Since that happened, I was able to skip the 2nd pit by conserving a little the last 2 minutes. Only really made one bad mistake other than running out of fuel. I got off line going into the sweeper and went wide. I though I could hold it and throttle around, but ended up clipping the pit lane barrier. I knew better. The other mistake I clipped a corner barrier and spun out.
35 laps (12:02.854) with a fast lap of 18.916.

Sheesh what a run Rob, I don't think I can catch you. I'm not sure if I'll be able to beat Pete really. I just can't stay that fast/clean for 12 minutes. :shrug:

Well I can't even begin to get my car to hook up worth a crap on the road course so i think I will be sitting all of the road courses out, 30+ second laps just isn't any fun, not to mention I am playing on a old a$$ monitor that might be at best a 17".

Any tips for tracks like this weeks from the pro's? I saw the chart you posted Rob but some word of mouth goes farther. You guys have plenty of room to share some hints/tips or car setup or something..
