Well, for some, a one day bash/race is too much to drive 3 hrs. That's why I'm staying over so I can be refreshed for the drive back. Consider it an adventure ... lol

I'll stay over Saturday night, so I can drive home fresh on Sunday.

If you take the vette, you'll be there in 2hrs...

The problem is my gear won't fit in the car. :(

I still may go and do the overnight thing. People please post where you are staying. We can party at night! Are people bringing their wives/GFs?

No women allowed! This the R/C women haters club! :jk: I will most probably be staying in the Hilton. I think Ed will be staying there as well with his family.

rossb, if you want your more than welcome to ship your gear to my place, and ill store it till you get here. also, the hell with that vette, bring the viper for god's sake. maybe the US gov't will take pity and give you a gas grant.

lemme update that list................

unless we have renewed interest in onroad, i think I'm going to plan more for offroad bashing on sunday than look for a place with a nice parking lot available. diver has already said the serpent stays home, rossb id recommend the R40 stays home and ill leave my ntc3 as well. offroad will me more than enough to occupy us for the day. hell, if everyone has an incredible time on sat, we can always go racing at the hobby hut on sunday as well.

Corrado, "Joey" is coming with me as well. He's got an RC10gt. Dunno what radio or channel yet.

I'm fine with just off-road stuff as I do plenty of on-road racing during the season. You said we can use personal transponders?

I'm checking my calendar now. Thanks for the offer CorradoPsi but if I can make it I'll just pack all my stuff in my daily driver.

RossB, yes bring your personals if you have em. if not, the track has battery powered transponders.

Wow ... sure is looking to be a good turnout. If woody comes, that would be the icing on the cake ... Wonder if the "cafe" has an affiliation somewhere out there in Amish land...

That a long way away for Woodie.
I would love for him to come, but it's a heluva trip from Kentucky, so I wouldn't count on it.

So who's racin'? What are ya' racin'?

I'll just be racing the truggy, hopefully.

Well, woodie went to the other bash up at Buffalo (the first one) as well as out to Cali. He drives to Long Island. Louisville, Ky is about 732 miles from me (i have family there) and he's in Lexington which is about an hour from Louisvile so the distance/time factor won't be too much. At a leisurely rate of speed limit, 13 hours is prety much average. Sl0eg1n and I did it 2 years ago in 10 1/2 hrs and that's from NYC. A few hours will be cut off going to the bash. Not too bad ...

As far as racing ... If memory serves me correctly, Saturday is a raceday at the track. I'll be racing as well. Sunday would just be reserved for kicking back and relaxing. If there's more racing on the schedule for sunday and the group agrees ... fine with me! I'll race for 2 days straight with my EB4-S3. Who knows, maybe the REVO will make an appearance on the track but I won't count on it. Hard enough racing one class. If something breaks ... forget it!

Will we able able to race Savages? According to this page the only Monsters they run are the T-Maxx and E-Maxx.

I think you missed it ross.

1/8th Scale Buggy Pit Stop Hobbies newest class running 1/8th scale nitro buggies
Novice Gas Any type of gas vehicle allowed (except T-Maxx)
:hi: Gas Truck Any type of gas truck allowed (except T-Maxx) :hi:
