Lessen, i highly recommend you make saturday as well if you can make it. i just talked my brother into comming today as well and it was his first time on a track. he did just fine, i got him into the novice class and he was right at home. you dont need to run with the fast guys in 1/8, no pressure just run with everyone else who is new to a track as well. newbs are very welcome at our track and the regulars go out of thier way to help out.
 
no problem diver, but if you turn fast times, as i suspect you will from your onroad experience, you may get bumped into the eighth scale class.
 
I'll give Saturday some thought. I assume they provide transponders?.? Do I use the transponder mount that came with my buggy?
 
yes transponders are provided.

team 17, i listed some of the hotels in the area in the first post, they are all close to each other so you guys dont have to drive all over the county to meet up. its also easy for me to pick you guys up at the hotel to show you where we are going for the day.
 
Ok thanx. By the way, for those that are planning to go to Hershey Park, they are closed in October.

I dunno. Ratzo calls me and sl0eg1n the "Malachi brothers" with good reason ... hahahaha. As I said, I have yet to put this buggy into a racing situation. I just rely on the computer to group us accordingly.
 
Bring spare parts! Especially if u go up against those two! lol
 
ok, whatever happens, happens. and i always have spares anyway. and dont you worry evilgrin. hershey is the stuff we point tourists to, ill hook you up with the good stuff, wilburs. 1 taste and you will be taking 2 10lb bars home.
 
I think if Ratzo goes, he's gonna bring his better half with him ... Buddha. I will see if sl0eg1n will come with me, or maybe Buncrana.

All it takes is someone to spearhead the bash. Do it yourself. Plan plan plan. This one came up on a whim.

actually i like the bash in my backyard thanks. but if you want to organize one, I'm sure guys will show up. just do a little leg work, and maybe plan a spring opener.
