I'm looking into getting a new body for my AS. the one i have now is beat up pretty bad. my Q is, what do you guys recommend for an RCD paint? the only stipulation is that it has to be available in a hardware store.
thanks in advance everybody!

Why does it need to be at your hardware store? I dont know what RCD means, but I get all my paints from amainhobbies.com. They have a really good selection and really fast shipping on everything.

AS is aftershock, its a losi MT. and RCD is a fancy acronym for spray paint, "Rattle Can Deluxe". sorry for the confusion fellas!

Most good paints for the RC car and truck shells are not sold at a hardware store. The paints sold at the hardware store don't stick to the shell and crack and peel. You might try a good hobby store online such as Tower hobbies.

You need a paint that is for Lexan or Polycarbonate.

Yeah, if it is not specially for Lexan or Polycarbonate, you will get serious flaking and the paint will chip right off. Companies such as Pactra, Parma, SpazStix and Auto-Air, etc are specially made to bond to the lexan, be flexible and very hard to chip off.
