What parts would I need to do so and is it worth it? Has anyone here done it too? I know shell would need to be changed and the wheels but anything else like: shocks, A arms and such?

Basically you're looking at changing an RC18B to an RC18T. The main difference between the two are the shock towers, the wheels/tires and the bodies if memory serves me. You can probably get by just changing out the wheels and tires.

wow, that's it? thanks. probably make an order next check. gonna look at manual later to check parts.

Yes, if you want a truck just convert it to the "T" form. However, if you want a "truggy" you should get the wheels/tires from the "MT". That'll be the most like a truggy.

Hey. Sorry it took me so long to respond. In reference to your PM i figure i would post my reply in here so others have a chance to see. All i really takes is an RC-18B rear shock tower with wing, and rc18T front shock tower for mounting. I took a losi Mini-t stock body and modded it to mount on the rc18, and trimmed out the rear to fit the wing. Also added larger tires. Proline Dirt Hawgs if i remember correctly.

Oh that's right.. duh! Of course you still need the wing for a truggy. What was I thinking? :nono:

IMO, to go from an RC18B to an RC18Truggy you need the T front/rear shock towers, a T body and MT wheels/tires.

the t rear shock towers dont mount a wing. at least not that I've seen

Ah thanks for that added info guys. Gonna try this, of course when it's complete is when I have the BL put in too but that can be later. ;)
