can't make my mind up between these two trucks, I am used to both electric and nitro. Wich ones faster? I will be putting in a novak brushless for the t4.

You're talking about two entirely different vehicles for entirely different purposes.

Well, if you go nitro, then you'll be hanging out with folks who run nitro. If you want electric, then you'll be hanging with folks who favor electrics. Depends on where you go to run. It would be silly to show up at the track where people are running nitro and put your electric on the ground and visa versa, especially if you are thinking of competing.

If you're just gonna bash around by yourself your back yard our on your street or something then I guess it doesn't matter which you choose. Personally, I Like running electrics on my street so I don't annoy my neighbors. When I go out to the track I run nitro cuz everyone else is.

Nitro models tend to be faster than electric models.

That statement is absolutely untrue!

I prefer Nitro but out of the box, car for car, electrics are faster. Are they as fun? Not in my opinion.

My preference is Nitro. I've had electric and sold all of them. I hated all the battery charging and changing after about ten minutes running. I like just pulling over and refueling and away you go again. Granted, nitro presents its own set of problems and oppertunities as we all know these engines can as tempermental as a wife with PSM........
:flaming:

With the new Lithium Ion packs coming into play, along with speed controls that work with both Lith Ion and brushless motors, I may be getting a new electric soon. 8,000 MaH with 20 minute runtimes and no loss of performance may be fun. Especially with a Hacker Brushless on, lets say, the AE electric on-road. Or even their buggy.

Soon, so soon, yet so far away!

For you to say that makes me think that maybe my sources are wrong. Heres one of them ...

A broken-in, unmodified RC10GT can do about 35mph and a Nitro Rustler can do 50mph.
