I fixed the body problem(loose screw :dancin: )
But I now have to buy a new spur gear

:OT: It's off the topic, But damn I am glad I'm getting my RC10GT this week, I just bashed my car up against a curb (@ FULL SPEED) head on. The two back motor mounts came off, It started secreaming bloody murder till it ran outta gas, cause I could't get over to it in time. The motor is pushed up way to the front of the chasis. I'm having bad luck with cars this week.

The Pro-Line Masher Tire, not Masher 2000, is beginning to grow on me. I believe that the Masher is smaller in diameter compared to the 2000. Would I need to do any re-gearing just for the Masher tires? I know I might have to get a new spur gear and clutch bell, but I'm clueless as far as how many teeth should be on either one. Any help?
:horsecrap

Are there any good replacements for the stock front wheel locknut in the GT? I have lost 2 on seperate occasions due to them popping if if I hit something the wrong way. They just seem weak. Then when the wheel flies of I lose the ball bearing. Any suggestions? Aluminum?

I found it better to use the nylon nuts for the front wheels. i tried to put the front lock-nut back on and snapped the axle in half. A washer and nylon bolt should do.

The lock nuts are 4-40 sized... If you have a bent axle, or slightly rounded threads on it, it will snap it off like nothin... If you do get the metal nuts, make sure they are nylon lock nuts. They should be fine (i run them now because i hava had the very same problem in the past.

I used the plastic shock eyelits they worked great and their like knock offs.

I'm pretty sure the threadlock bottle says NOT to use it on plastic... I thought it only worked on metal-to-metal threads, but who knows, maybe i thought wrong... lol

i think your right .21, but maybe its just optimum on metal to metal and with work on plastic too. Who knows.

use nail polish or super glue for you plastic driving screws.it works great and even makes a new thread in plastic if youve striped it out, but only with high quality super glue, dont worry about glueing plastic peices together they just snap apart with no damage leaving the new threads intact.
