RC10 trail truck kit

I think that's dumb. Use orange metal and the white plastic? It's and rc10. Also they're probably gonna have some issue with Mopar/jeep since I don't see a Jeep trademark license and it looks like an XJ. I like and dislike portals. They suck for raw rock climbing, but are great for most other stuff. I'm gonna have a monster max looking truck if I get a lift kit and bigger tires, not a rock crawling looking truck. Kinda thinking I make it an overlander and leaving the crawling to my losi. Hey, I do have trailers after all...

This just hurts my soul. I wish they would get off their vintage color schemes already. A white under carriage on a trail truck, seriously? I love my Element Crawlers/Trail trucks but this makes me feel the ick. This is obviously meant to be a shelf queen for collectors.
Yeah... It sure would take a lot of extra time to get some Rit Dye and make the parts black...

Seems silly to do, when I can buy a better rig that comes with black parts already, for the same price, from the same company. 🤷‍♂️ 🤣

But it's the fun and excitement of the fake nostalgia!

That would be a hard pass for me if I were in the market.
The white plastics look toy grade.
Couldn’t agree more.

This is AE’s launch into killing off Element. That truck is a Sendero. They couldn’t even be bothered to remove the “E” from the mold of the outer portal covers.

This is a whack cash grab. 😑

I'd run that if they gave it to me for free. The white nylon is nostalgic of the orig RC10.

I'm biased, I'm a racer. This isn't my jam. It is kinda cool. But yawn and meh.

I'd like to meet their product manager. Or just be in a meeting when they're discussing this. Like why? And how many units do you really think you're going to sell? Maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe this is made in the same factory that all other things get made so the cost is already built in, sometimes accountants call it a sunken cost. I assume there has to be some demand out there....Not from me.

I like that it comes with inner fenders, mirrors...etc. BUT... why go through all that effort and stop short. How about some plastic door handles? Molded front grill with light buckets? Maybe at least a lexan interior... molded rear bumper...

Boy I miss the older axial kits that came with all the scale looking goodies.
