ok i have an rc 10 gt, and the first day i got it, it hit as little bump flipped over and broke the rear shock tower, then the next day the front steering block brok, then the front steering carrier snapped, i thinks its because the parts on these rip off car are all plastic pieces of dookie, but the rc10 gt is proclaimed to be all cool, but i havent ran mine for more than 5 min, it just breaks do i have a defect, or do they want me to spend more monet than i alreay spent cuz it dont run considering i spent 400$ on this junk heep!!

Junk heep? Naa man, you're doing something more than hitting little bumps. What did you crash into going high speeds when you broke the steering block?
They're tough, but not indestructable. Nothing is. If you wanted something really tough you should have gotten an 1/8 buggy, but by the sounds of your nitro R/C experience so far that probably wouldn't have been a good idea. You are the reason that some Hobby Stores refuse to sell nitro vehicles to certain individuals, beacause they're just not ready for them.
It's a Stadium Truck, not a Monster Truck. It's made for short grass, dirt, and ashpalt (kinda).
REMEMBER, your R/C truck is a part of a HOBBY, NOT ANOTHER TOY.
Please don't take this the wrong way, you just need to realize that there is much much more involed to nitro R/C than just gassing up and going.

I gotta side with Gil on this one. I owned a GT for a few years and I found it to be one tough truck. I was throwing that thing through all sorts of abuse and it held up well. Jumping it 6-7 off the ground. Trashing landings. And it still held up fine. I just have to question the way you're treating it.

LMFAO,
These new guys crack me up.

Dude, accept a little responsibility!!

The car didn't break, you broke it!!!
Learn to drive the thing without crashing and it won't break

You sound like my 7 year old

You drove it, you broke it! Only one to blame is yourself. Anything is gonna break when mistreated or driven with little or no control.

breakage and damage should always be seen as oppertunity...not as a problem..and for me, if its not broken at the end of the day, i did not have enough fun..peace--

if anyone wants a testimonial to how tough an RC10GT is - just ask anyone who was at the RCNT East Coast Bash in Buffalo, NY. I was taking the same jumps as the 8th scale buggies with mine, and other than a zip tie issue, nothing on the truck broke, thing was a beast

thanks guys for you're input, i was seeing if it was just junnk, or a defct, I'm not asking for you to make fun of me and trust me guys i no how to drive and r.c, if you wer theer when i didnt crash and it just broke you would uunderstand,a dn I'm talking about factory parts. trust me theres somehting wrong with it

My last RC10GT ran one full race season out of the box without breaking of those "cheap plastic" part that are actually made of nylon.

Another thought, too. If you live up north and are bashing outside at this time of year, the cold tends to make the nylon parts a bit more brittle and they break easier...

Since this is the worst display of grammer, punctuation, and spelling I have ever seen, I thought it best if I translated the above statement for all with an I.Q. over 80.

Thanks guys, for your input. I was seeing if the vehicle was junk or just had a defect. I was not asking for you to make fun of me. Trust me, I know how to drive an RC vehicle. If you were there when the vehicle crashed and broke, you would understand what I am talking about. Trust me, there is something wrong with it.

Hey, NA, did you translate that at freetranslation.com? I was looking for the English to Duh! translation but I couldn't find it...

NA is very very smart ...

hey , if its your first RC, you will always be a little too rough on it. things break, when they break , upgrade. if nothing broke it wouldnt be any fun

:marshall: yea upgrading to new things, when the old things break not a bad idea.......lol

lol well I'm glad the larger part of this community think that the rc10gt is a rocksolid truck cuz my friend is gettign one and hes not the most talented driver ever(lets just say hes not allowed to drive my tmaxx anymore)
so i hope it will hold up better than the crappy max st pro he got.

it is hard to understand that translation seeing as though the person whom was translating has an I.Q. below 75... this is how it should be...

I would like to thank each of you for your time and input. The reason for my questioning the reliability/durability of an RC10 GT is due to a series of misfortunate events in which left me with a broken r/c vehicle and added expences. I do not appreciate your making fun of me. I understand the techniques assosiated with driving a nitro-powered car (although i do not impliment them into my driving habits) and if you were there, then you would be able to understand my questioning of the vehicles credibility... Although the majority of people whom have responded to my question with denoting comments to myself, i will remain bullheaded in my own little bubble and proclaim that the problem is with the vehicle itself, and is not due to any mis-treatment carried out by myself...

just kidding nitroaddict, i jus wanted a piece too
