I found a couple of rc flight sims for android while i was on vacation.

One is called "leo's RC simulator. This one has planes and helis. you can also go to the plug ins section and download others. all free. It does NOT use the internal gyro on the phone to fly though :(

the other is from Blade and is called "bladeCX free Rc simulator" Again its free (duh), but is only one heli. and a simple 2 stick on the screen control setup.

both are great to pass time when you are bored... :D

I just found your thread and downloaded Leo's RC Simulator. So far it looks like fun. I'm afraid to show it to my son otherwise he might run the battery dead on my cell phone! For some reason he really doesn't like to fly real RC planes but loves the sims.

No problem. I pulled this one off page 2 as usually most people don't read past page one. The review on it in my Android app store said that it might not work well on my phone but works very well indeed to my amazement. The app downloads quickly even in my area where the signal is lousy most of the time.
I haven't tried the Blade version yet. I have another app on my phone, Helidroid 3D which is more of a game involving flying around a room and having to land in various places and is timed but kind of boring and not that easy to play. With Leo's it's more like the high-dollar flight sim's with on-screen 4-channel joystick control. For a free app there's no complaints on this one. You have 3 to choose from, a plane, heli or glider.
5 stars!

I just downloaded one on my Iphone called rc-airsim. Its pretty good. comes with 1 planes, the rest are .99 a piece. Its just not the same as my realflight though.

For the price (FREE!) I'm not complaining. It'll give me something more to do than just play Angry Birds. :) My signal is lousy at work with all of the high-voltage machinery there and you've got to find someone who'll give you the password for the Wi-Fi but even if you get that, there are IT guys looking over your shoulder. They won't even let you on Facebook!
