Ya'll ain't go no landfills? Some of them piles get pretty big, and you got three mobile trash compactors sittin' there just lookin' for a good time.

At times I come across a snake, but just gotta be careful where you stand. We had a serious talk about wearing snake boots, so it's on our radar.

That's why I was asking, I've come across the random Rattler occasionally, since I wear shorts 99.9% of the time I am very cautious about shadowy areas.

A small one popped out of some rocks next to my feet a few weeks ago, and it got my attention.

I knew a guy that had a rattlesnake in his basement that had a head bigger than my hand. Even in a glass aquarium it was freaky being that close to something that can kill you pretty damn quickly. And him being a lot bigger than I thought they ever got made it worse. He sat there shaking his rattle and hissing at me. He kept hissing as I walked all the way back upstares. Evil snake.

Around here it's not usually the rattlers that'll get you on the ground, as they'll usually rattle and warn you to back off. It's the copperheads that will lay in the leaf and pine litter and just strike. If you're on or near certain bodies of water, then water moccasins, they're meaner than anything else around, luckily not that prevalent though.

He's not wrong. Where i lived in Arkansas was the crossroads for their molting season. Twice a year, thousands of them would pass across our property. The ground would be covered for hours. Pretty cool sight.

I had a pet tarantula when I was in elementary school. They really are mellow when they don't feel threatened.
