Removing clutter is the worst in backgrounds, only second to editing around hair.

Why not just get a roll of paper and hang it above the work table. Pull down and horizontal across the table. No cluttered background, no seam at the back.

I think the obvious solution here is a 1/10 scale garage with vintage signs, a lift, a craftsman toolbox and scale Milwaukee power tools

Tons of stuff online you can print on heavy card stock and if you have a 3d printer or know someone that does, there's tons of files for scale tools and shop equipment
