I want to buy a new control for my on-road nitro rc . Was wondering if there is any websites that sell them?.

thanks is there anything else?.. if I buy a controller would I have to buy a new receiver that would go with the controller .. or the same model ? how does it work?

If you buy a new transmitter make sure it comes with a reciever. Soe do not come with one. May I suggest getting a Spektrum DX2.0 . Do you have any other RC's? If you do you can just add another receiver since it has a two model memory.

Click here ---> SPEKTRUM DX2.0

Or this ---> AIRTRONICS MX3 FHSS

Or this ---> FUTABA 3PM FASST

All of these run a the Spread Spectrum Band. These Transmitters automatically scan for a free channel so long as it is binded correctly.

Hope this helps.

Ok whats the cheapest i can get both in 1 shot?. that right reciever and the controller?

thanks

I have the MX3 as well. Decent radio with everything I need (and more that I don't use). I'd like to upgrade to it's 2.4Ghz cousin just to eliminate glitching I get in my area and to gain range. The main reason I don't is of course $ or I wouldn't have the MX3 in the first place... plus, I have 3 vehicles so I'd have to buy two extra $90 receivers as well. So, a $180 radio system quickly becomes a $360 radio system...

As it is, I only get about 100 yards of range out of it and I get periodic servo glitching. I think I just have a butt load of radio interference around where I typically run. When I ran up in northern Minnesota at a family visit, I got a lot more distance and virtually no glitching... Maybe it just likes the north?

I'll just chime in saying I have JR XR3i and it works quite well for me. It's available from Horizon as an upgrade system with TX and RX. The servos you already have should work fine with the system. It's still 75 MHz FM, but it has 4 model memories, 3 channels and plenty of programmable features. I really like it.

Ok. Cause my friend bought the same exact car as me . SO i think it would have the same Crystal?. if it does i would only have to change the crystals?

You may have to change, but they don't sell all of one truck with the same crystal frequency. You just need to check your friends transmitter crystal and see if it's the same. If it is, then you need to buy a crystal set that's different.

i have a hitec aggressor comes with 2 servos remote and recievr 65 bucks on towerhobbies

If you guys have the same crystals, you guys will control both of your guys cars. You both will need to have different crystals from each other (Your friend's pairs and your pairs).

I have the HPI 2 channel controller that came with the Savage. It's never even seen batteries. Brand new, never used, since I installed a 3ch M11 Rx as soon as I got the truck.
It's going to the For Sale forum shortly.
