Hi. I have always charged my lips in this way. Say I have a 5000mah battery. I fully charge it to 5000mah and then run it down to my esc minimum voltage cutoff. My charger does not have a way to adjust the maximum cell or total voltage when charging to I always storage charged my batteries by telling the charger to charge the batteries to half of the total mah of the battery. In this case that would be 2500mah. Is this the correct way to do this if your charger does not have a way to set maximum termination voltage of your battery?

I would say, get a new charger since you can’t charge it to a specific voltage on yours. I bought a Hitec RDX1 Pro recently for $80, it’s really good for the price, it’s 100w, supports up to 6s, and has settings for voltage cutoff and storage charging.

I agree. You need a better charger. The way you're doing it you could be overcharging or undercharging the lipos when charging them to full depending on what the packs true capacitance rating is.

The Hitec X2 AC Plus dual charger is on sale right now at AMAIN for only $99.

It charges at 50w per channel on AC but 100w on DC! Wow, I probably should’ve waited but I’m super happy with my RDX1 Pro.

Agree with pug and greywolf. I have the hitec rdx1 and it does a great job for me.

Time 4 new charger. I really dont agree with putting 5000mah into a 5000mah battery in this case how is battery run down to zero mah -A: its not
