I picked this up yesterday pretty cheap from a friend of mine. I dont kow much about RC 10's so I figured I put up some pics and everyone tell me what they think. I know that is has JR racing servo's for the T/B and steering. The T/B is a Z270 and the Steering is a Z590M. It had a JR racing reciever, But I switched it out for my SR300, for my spektrum radio. This thing is set up for bump start right now and I dont like that. Anyway, here are the pics. Tell me what you think.

It also has a OS CVR motor. It feels like it still has decent compression.

Looks like he didn't do too much to it. RPM arms in front, RRP steel spur gear, looks like some cvds, graphite shock tower in the rear. BTW, paddles are my favorite for loose dirt. They wear out fast when there is gravel, but in some nice loose dirt, they are extremely fun. Let me know if you have any specific questions. I'd be happy to help.

Actually I added the RPM arms and CVD's in the rear. My LHS had stuff 1/2 off so i got a few things. I have NO clue as to what size the motor is. All I know is that its an OS CVR. I havent started it yet cause I dont have a bump box and the bicycle tire trick didt work cause the tire is too big to fit in the hole for the bottom. I may just buy Lessens os motor he has for sale and change the motor mount and be done with it.

that looks like the stock engine, header, and pipe for that truck dude, and dont mistake comrepssion for a sticky engine thats been sitting for a long time.. how much did you pay??

with that engine lessen has, that thing would fly!! i had one with the os 18 in it!!

they are fun little trucks, and pretty durable with the right hoppups.

$60 for the truck. I bought that OS from Lessen. I just need a body now. I got the pullstart motor mount on the way as well. I would like to put some RS4 type wheels or something on it. I'm going to get the Imex Dirt dawg wheels from .21rc10gt. Is there a adapter or something for this little truck for those road type wheels?

I'm going to get a couple more RPM parts for it and call it good. Just for bashing. I'm waiting on my LHS to get his track done and see what classes he offers. Might race it a little. Prolly going to race my Maxx as well. He said he was going to have a hop up MT class.

.21rc10gt is the man to talk to. he had onroad wheels (or maybe onroad buggy wheels) on his rc10 rocket sled

It looks like a .12 OS from back in the day. My GT was full graphite, titanium, full bearings, running a FR15 with Fantom Works natural finish pipe. Retarded fast! I miss it sometimes and the ease at which you could work on it compared to the Maxx. Fun rig!

Yeah I've already noticed this thing is WAY more simpler then the maxx. I kinda like that. Everything is repairable in about 10 minutes to where it takes 30 to 45 minutes for just about anything on the maxx :D. Plus parts are cheaper. Seems like I could just about upgrade everything for about $60 or so. Will a GT2 body fit this sled?

I just picked up RPM reciever box and RPM front bumper for this little jewel for $14. Gotta love Ebay!
