I just received my C6bb and started to run it in. I first check the carb settings and they were pretty close to 3.5 top 5 bottom. I started to idle the first tank and the temp was a little hight, 185+. I had to open the top 1 full turn to get the temp to 130. I have run with 12 tanks of fuel and can't get the tune right. I set it bak to original RB settings and it gets hot in a hurry. I also have eratic low idle after a straight away which I thinks I am too lean on bottom. In order to get stable idle I have the bottom at 6 turns. To keep the temp range in the 220-245's i have the top at like 5 turns. I still have tuning problems. THis is my third rb motor in 5 years and this is the first pproblems I have had. thnks

thnks i got it running well now the initial heat worried me i learned something new.

I thought that you had to run the initial heat up to around 180-190 for the parts to fully expand and contract (to run the heat cycle)? Why do you do 130?

rb 6 plug and trinity monster 30%

RB/NovaRossi 7 is the recommended plug for 30% nitro. (RB/NovaRossi 6 is good for 25%).

yes i added the extra shim. should I also change the plug to #7? Its running great now thnks again
