Got it. I didn't want to show up at the track with a transmitter like this and immediately be met with suspicion.
you wont. i've been using it for two years now and not a single person has ever had any suspicion. it's an incredible value. $150 you get two choices of radio ELRS or 4-1, a couple receivers and a bunch of optional parts. Repair parts are cheap and available. there's a mod community. chat gpt can write you scripts. it has really nice feel in the hands. Futuba guys say they can't tell the difference at my track. I just wish the trigger was a little more adjustable. would like a stronger resistance in the trigger.

if anyone is suspicious of this transmitter then they should be suspicious of any programmable transmitter. The difference is that this one is opensource and has the potential to be more capable in certain conditions. other than that it's just a radio like any other.
