is it possible to use a 2.4G reciver from radio brand A with a transmitter from brand B?

how would you go about binding them together? here is why I'm asking, I just bought a new radio (nomadio react) and need another reciever. I keep going on evilbay to find a deal but they rarely have nomadio recievers, but of course there are a million spectrum recievers. just curios to know if there compatable
