So the threat of there being no F1 championship finally got the better of them and they decided to take the Spending cap off, Saving F1 for at least 2 more years.

Well, there would have been an F1 championship but to be wholely truthful... nobody would care if there were no Ferrari, Renault etc. I think it's all a bunch of crap. Whiny ass MFRS. Why can't they just play the game like everybody else. You think any of the three new teams will be anywhere near competitive next year? NOPE. If USF1 is competitive for points I'll be happy. Anything better than 12th will be a big surprise.

Oh look, another rained out qualifying session. There's a way to save the teams a crapload of money Mr. Helton, Just dump qualifying. We're only getting it in half the year anyways.

Hehehe.... Happy 4th.

Now I got a question.. while I was watching the playback of the finish I noticed that Jaime nabbed one last position off of Elliot Sadler in the closing couple hundred feet. My concern is that he is below the yellow line. However, they're wreckin up high right in front of them. How will Nascar call that? I mean, he's avoiding the wreck but technically he illegally gained a position. I won't be surprised if the bump the #26 back to 11th after review.

They better not move him back. Hamlin advanced his position earlier in the rash with more than half his car below the yellow and he was not penalized.

Oh yeah, that's right. They must have felt he was forced... but even so, wouldn't he be required to give the position back on track? Maybe I'm thinking F1 here though...

I was cheering when busch ate the wall! I can not stand him. He deserved it, Tony had his nose outside him, he tried to bully his way back in front of him, and you know damn well he would not have cared for a minute if he had put Tony in the wall as long as he won. Then his crybaby ass won't even be interviewed after the race. He is such a whiny little jackass, and imo it makes any race better when he crashes.

lol i never liked him before but he's grown on me.....still a very awesome finish...and ya tony did have him there...though if bucsh would have just stayed were he was i don't think tony could have got him with nobody coming to push

That's a good possibility, but unfortunitely Busch is such a dirty driver we will never know. I would have loved to see them two battle to the finish cleanly, that would have been one hell of a finish.

My uncle told me i would love the finish before i started the race. I expected one of 3 things. 48 to win, 24 to win, or 18 to wreck. the 3rd was true.

Yeah, there was a lot of good racin' at the front of the field. I've always had mixed feeling about Chicagoland. It always gets really strung out really early and I hate that, but the track does tend to create some good racing once all the competitive cars get close to each other. Chicago might be my 4th track to visit next year. Plus, night races rock!

I enjoyed that race. Was Kyle crying after he blew his car up? He did everything he could to kill it. Did you guys catch Logano outrunning him on friday night and listen to him wining aout it?
