R/C presents?

Any one get anything R/C related for Christmas??!?!? The closest thing I got was a gift card to a LHS which is pretty good.

Who else got a R/C related gift? Anything good?

No, I just thought it was really cool. The one I have is the first one I made by myself, I think it's okay, but it cut the edges really bad.

I got a Losi 1/36 Desert Truck and a mini heli from my son. I bought myself another round of parts for the Hyper 15.5 project I am working on.

Hope everyone got what they wanted.....and more importantly that they GAVE to those they love what THEY wanted....

Tamiya High Lift Hi-Lux with a Futaba 4 Channel stick radio to go with it.

Those are only the items I actually received wrapped from under the tree.

Items that never made it under the tree are a set of RC4WD aluminum bead locks for the High Lift, Futaba 3PM FASST radio with soft case for my 5B and a Dark Soul stand for the 5B.

k, i bought the losi micro desert truck today

If you have not already get the ball bearings and the lipo battery.....it screams with those mods.


My wife knew something was up when as soon as I unwrapped the truck I went to my hobby office and grabbed these items....I had purchased them last week in anticipation getting the truck.


My oldest son and I were up till 2 am last night jumping it in the front room....what a blast.

yeh..i think so..the stupid charge on my 1st run only lasted 45 seconds..whats up with that?

i just took it for its second run, bad fast for its size, lipo, ball bearings, and brushless would be crazy

Well you need to read the destructions......you HAVE to charge it completely the first time out.....AND NEVER let it run out completely as they charger needs a trickle of power to start the charge....

Now one of the latest RC mags had a note in there that you could use your regular charger.....but you have to mod it a bit ......to bring a dead one back to life...

i got it, thanks, it did charge fully, i know to let it to that. the second charge lasted 6 minutes at almost full throttle
