R/C car cameras

Has anyone ever mounted a camera on the car, so that you get a drivers eye video feed from the car??

Not sure.. how expensive it would be, if even possible.. one thing I thought of,
is the weight of the camera. However, anymore cameras are made tiny and light.

Thoughts anyone?

They make special cameras for rc cars and they cost $50. They are really cool and are fun to play with. I have one myself!!

A 2.4GHz wireless color camera kit costs about 40GBP in the UK. I would guess that the same item would sell for 70 USD or less in the US.

The cameras are very small and light (2oz or so) but you would also need to carry a 9V battery to power the camera.

How does this setup work? Does it record the footage for later viewing? or... give you a streaming flow to a monitor?
