i have these truggy tires and i wanna unglue them but my question is if i do the baking method would i be able to use the tires again like would the threads waste and would the paint on the rim come of

Depends on the tire, the glue, and how you remove em. Sometimes the bead will stay intact...other times it will rip apart at stubborn points. normally the reason for removing tires from rims is to replace them with new tires and keep the old foams/wheels.

It's worth a shot, but just be careful. A better method might be to use Acetone in a bucket and hang the wheel above the acetone and seal the bucket. the fumes will eat the glue without doing much damage to the tire itself. Baking can work as well, but trying to pull a hot tire off tends to not be so subtle ;-)

I'm just doing it because the rim has a vent hole on the rim but the tire doesn't i mean I'm gonna unglue the tire and put duct tape on the vent hole of the rim and make a hole on the tire instead would that be fine

The breather hole lets the tire absorb shock without bouncing like a basketball. Why do you want to block the hole in the rim and put one in the tire? Wouldn't you get the same results, only gaining the chance of tearing a tire when you snag the hole in the tire on something?

thats what i wanna do would it be ok

But out of the two options, a vented tire is better than a vented rim.

They both accomplish the same goal. Venting the tire allows moisture to be flung out of the tire as it rolls though. That's really the only advantage I see to venting the tire versus the rim.

And that's a big difference. A tire can become unbalanced from the water.

thats exactly what i wanna do so should i do it i will be using the baking method would it be fine
