Ok, so I have a little problem. Recently on my 3.3 the truck will squat in the rear and not rebound or come back up, like off a jump or on hard throttle like on a start. The truck squats down to the floor, and then stays there until I hit the brakes and it will pop back up. Could this mean that I need to replace my shock oil, or are my springs no good anymore and should I buy new ones. As for shock oil, is 50 wt good for front and rear? I have Losi 50wt in my tool box and would like to replace the oil from the factory. Thanks in advance!

On mine i have 55wt in front and 60wt in rear with stock springs and it seems to work well as far as compression and rebound. It squats on hard throttle and stands right back up when i let off the throttle.

ok, thanks dude. I think tomorrow I am going to go to my lhs and see what wt shock oil they have, and try to find like 60, or 55 for the rear. I will stick with 50 in the front. And try maybe like tan springs up front and green in the back. i will see though what they have in stock. Thanks again!!

Have you tried adjusting the squat by adding more pre-load?

Also, is it possible that you may have bent something (hinge pins?) and it's sticking?

What color springs are you running?

I am running silver in the back, and blue in the front. I also am running LT rockers with stock wheels.

I am going to take my truck apart tonight, and check everything out that is going on back there. I will check it out, and get back to you guys. Tomorrow I am buying new springs no matter what though.

Could also be a tweaked shock shaft causing it. Don't forget to make sure those move nice and smooth without the springs attached.

Didn't even think to check those. And i didnt get around to taking it apart so I am going to tomorrow. Thanks again olds.

Also I dont know if you have the sway bar kit installed or not but I had to adjust mine because the camber link was actually catching on the swaybar link causing it to not rebound.
outta.

nope, i dont have a sway bar kit but thanks for asking anyways. I got my truck torn down and I am waiting to go over to my lhs and get some stuff for it.
