still new to this I've had my truck a week. I've broke three times. fun though, but about the fail safe stuff. my receiver got wet fist day, throttle stuck wide open, broke it what do i need so that dont happen again. himoto viper xst
 
A party balloon, some RTV and ziptie. Put the receiver in the balloon with the wires coming out the neck. Put a blob of RTV in the neck, then ziptie over/around the blob to make a good seal. Let it cure overnight.

That's how all my receivers are in all my rigs to avoid water damage. I rinse my rigs off during the summer with a garden hose... and I bash in the winter (snow = water eventually ;)).

You may also want to look into getting waterproof servos or that will be your next issue.

You can do the same balloon method with your battery pack as well. Except with that, I wrap a couple layers of electrical tape around it to help protect the balloon from abrasion due to vibration and sticks/rocks if it's exposed at all.

yeah i figrued that out already I'm looking for a fail safe switch, are they all the same?
 
something so if i lose signal . it stalls my truck or something along those lines
