Questions about Hpi interior sets

I've seen these in the catalogs when u purchase hpi bodies - that they offer interior kits, which i think are just awesome. my question is, that due to the fact that hpi mounts the engine on the wrong side of the car, will they fit an NTC3? also, do these kits raise engine temp, due to lack of airflow over the cooling head?

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe those interior kits are not made for nitro cars, I think they are intended for electric only.

Yep, they sure do. They are also coming out with two new kits at the end of this year. A nitro and an electric, supposedly high end race quality. They have info about them on their site but no pics yet. I can't wait to see them.

The interior kit is for NITRO only..sorry....but. There is no wrong way to mount an engine. What if you have a twin engine? LoL.... btw: YAY I'm a hardcore RCNT user...just like X...

silent - the kit is just for the hpi cars though, right? and they are they only dorks who mount the engine on the right side of the car - so therfore it wont fit any other brand out there? or can modifications be made?

Yes..the interior sets are made for specific HPI models. There is no way to change the engine placement unless you custom change your chassis. Unless your good at that or have ALOT of money and time....screw the interior set. Sorry to be a nut breaker...lol:coffee

Sorry, but your wrong Kellen. Here is the interior kit, it is made for the HPI pro 2 which is ELECTRIC, not nitro. These interior kits would have to be hacked to death to install one on a nitro vehicle.

Nitro requires a lot more cooling, I think that's why they dont bother with making them for nitro cars...
