Are there any nitro scale rc cars?

scale rc is more of a crawling setup. to my knowledge, i am unaware of a nitro scale rig being available. but as far as that goes I'm sure with the right chassis, wheels, and body you could have a scale appearance nitro. although the noise of the nitro would not be scale... good luck

What you will find in here is going to be mostly scale trucks that are designed to go slow which is why they are electric, with nitro you need air flow to keep the motors cool and you won't really get that when you are usually only going a few MPH, If you want to do a scale nitro car, I think maybe a Rat Rod or something like that, which will be going fast would be a good choice for a nitro scale car. JMO

HPI makes some 1/8 scale nitro on-road cars with real looking bodies.

Some of us have purchased cheap toy grade vehicles at Radio Shack or Wallmart, then stripped them to the body which is very nicely detailed and mounted them on scalers.
