i need a starter box for my xxx-nt thats coming in the mail soon and i have been looking on ebay for a good deal.
i know everyone raves about ofna boxes and i have been looking at those but what are other good brands of boxes i should look for?

now to the associated part of my title...does anyone know if the associated factory team box will fit my losi? it says on tower it is for the ntc3 and rc10gt but i dont see why it wont start any other similar 1/10 car or truck too.
reason is i found one new on ebay with batt and charger and all and i might be able to get it for pretty cheap.

thanks alot.

the ofna multibox - and the ae box are virtually the exact same. the AE box has 3 seperate mounting positions, and yes, it will fit your xxx-nt

Well, I have an Ofna with the power panel and it is really nice. Runs on 12V and has two drive motors. You can position the motors for sideways or inline flywheels and adjust the position the wheel stars at when you press down. It can with the battery and the glow starter which plugs into the power panel. There is an adjustment to regulate the amount of power to the glow starter. It did not come with the charger but I already have one from a Hobbico 12 volt battery. It ran about $90.

larry that is a good box- but the multibox and the AE box utilize a single motor that produces much more torque than the twin motor design. both of the boxes can also use and come with the equipment for either 12v power or two nicad 6cell packs
