Could having the gear mesh to tight cause my car not to idle? The bell spins freely with the engine off but when I start it, the wheels won't stop moving. I got the throttle trim down to the lowest point where the engine won't quit, I even have to open it up a little to fire it back up. This is a new engine so its running really rich and I don't want to start breaking it in until I can get it to idle. Or could this be the clutch shoes?

Classic sign of a broken or stretched clutch spring, pull the CB for a looksee.
