Question about cleaning Nitro vehicles

well, I use fantastic "orange" cleaner and I leave the electronics on. I do however remove the air cleaner and put a "cap" on the carb, like the rubber caps you get with the glow drivers. My receiver is in a box, (NTC3) so I dont worry about it as I dont spray anything directly in the box. Soak it down real good, let it sit for a few minutes then blast it with 100psi of air. Afterwards, spray the whole thing down with wd40 and let it dry. Never had a problem doing that way...been doing it for 5+ years.........just my thoughts.......

I remove my motor and electronics throw it in the dishwasher and turn all my anodized parts pink  Lmfao!!! I WOULDNT recomend doing this. I would follow the steps stated above. I only tried this once more of a pain than its worth. It was funny though
