I hit a 1000 posts. FINALLY!! But I can't put an avatar. How do I do it? I went to my profile and in to the edit options where it says change avatar and it asks me to login and then it says I don't have access. So what do I do?

I think you first have o have it hosted somewhere (you probably have this covered). Next, go to your vB home (profile), select edit options at the top, then scroll down and click change avatar. Down in the bottom is a section that says Custom avatar, make sure that "yes" box is checked, put the url to your hosted avatar and click submit modifications. The rcnt server will access the url and put the pic in our database (it'll load from here, and not where it was loaded from). That should make it appear under your username.

I am having the same problem now but The avatar has to be just the right size right?

the maximum size of your custom image is 75 by 75 pixels or 40000 bytes (whichever is smaller)
