I installed a protek100ss SS servo in 2wd Rustler. It fits in same spot orientation is the same, but it goes left when I turn right and it goes right when I turn left. It does not appear there is any room to spin the servo around…but I figured I’d ask y’all’s advice here. Is there a way to reverse these things? What should I have looked for when purchasing this thing? I am new to this hobby, i saw a few other people saying this was a good servo for the rustler…how’d they get it to work?

Thanks for any help.

What radio are you using? Are you still using the stock RTR transmitter or are you running a upgraded radio system?

Most likely need to reverse the CH1 or ST / Steering channel in the transmitter so your input on the tx matches the servo. For example, if your TX is set to normal, currently the car will turn left if you turn right and will turn right if you turn left. If you reverse the channel, it will fix that so right will be right and left would be left, or vise versa.

If your still using the RTR transmitter, this video will help. But if your running a upgraded rx/tx combo, id refer to the manual.

find the servo direction switch.. opion. and change that either from forwars to reverse or reverse to forward..

Thanks for the video! That worked!! I am using the stock TQ transmitter. I did not realize the TQ would switch like that. I thought it had to be the TQi. Thanks for the help.

almost any radio can switch throttle direction along with servo direction.olt seen 2 that would not in my 40+ years in this hobby and that was back in the AM days
