RC Driving Style
The main place that I'm able to use my car is just on my street. With that there is always the constant threat of totaling my RC on the kerb (which has happened to me before).
I am able to do it at my local schoolyard (its huge), but there is the risk of neds there who will just steal the car.. Or *force* me to give them a go and they will total it..

Anyway, what can i do to protect myself from kerb damage apart from just being careful? Are there any bumperish mods i can do?

just get an offroader and go on a field lol i prefer it thats why i sold me car because there wasn't anywhere to run it... you could aloways get some foam and strap it to the bumpers lol :p

Protection from kerbs

I've had great success protecting myself from kerbs by wrapping myself in tin foil and sitting cross legged within a ring of fire, fueled by paraffin wax.

On the other hand, if you're looking to protect your R/C from CURBS , then you're on your own. They ALWAYS win.

Or you could just smash your RC into those who wish to take it from you at the school yard. Then apologize profusely about their broken ankle.

Yes SIR....Captain Obvious, sir.

Not sure about curb protection, but you can use a fail safe and a throttle return spring to prevent run aways going towards a curb. If you want to protect your nice under chassis from the pavement, you can buy a layer of clear lexan made for some chassis or AE's chassis protective layer. I've heard it works pretty good. http://67.199.85.166/main/productdetails.php?text=9787&category=4030.xxxxx

I thought that only worked for Krabbs? Not kurbs.:D

I'll second that. See attached pics. Poor GT2, I kinda miss that rig, LOL.
