Thanks Plaid he'll be happy w/ your feedback, Its the HULK I believe, I have a pic w/ the body on I will post for him but have to take one of the other pics off!

For lack of a better word, HOLY S:censored:T!! :OMG: I wish I had the time, money and work space to build like that. :worship: :worship: :worship:

Looks good. I shte compression on the collari so tight where ou hate the pull start?

They are Very tight when new, even with the plug a little loose I broke my pullstart about 8 time before I got it broke in. Now it is fine. Upgraded the pull cord and inner spring so now it's good to go. But 2 Collari's?? Ouch!!!

yow that is one dramatic looking show truck. You could probably get that thing on the discovery channel "BIG" show. How do you tune it? Those needles look like they are tough to get to.

Get some video of this thing I want to see it go.

Have you ever thought about mounting a set of tracks? :tank:

I do have to say it’s a beautiful looking unit. I can see that a lot of time, thought, and moding took place to get it all together and functioning. I’m sure there have been a lot of long days and nights spent putting it all together.

Is this truck still being put together or is this the finished product?

The reason I ask is there seems to be a lack of time spent on the little details I would expect to see in a show truck. Most judges use 25% of the points for concept 25% functionality and 50% for the little details that make a show truck worth showing.

I am in no way putting the truck down, as a matter of fact I'm trying to ad to the impressive beast you have done so well on creating.

Just from the pictures I have seen here are a few suggestions.

The chassis looks raw as far as not having finished edges.
The use of worn out Phillips head screws, and mixed screw types. Phillips and hex.
Plastic servo horns.
Wrong length screws most noticeable on the top of the shocks. (To long)
Countersinking of screws on the chassis and skid plates is a must.

Again these are suggestions to help make a great truck LOOK even better and not meant to take away from the great job you have done.

OH sure ed......you know you're jelous cause his bad project got finished...(I know I am).....I remember reading recently about a 3 year project that took off great and just sort of fizzled out.....HMMMMMM I wonder who that was.......ah maybe I'm thinkin about my own Maxx project that just lingers on & on & on & on.........how long did you guys spend on this....when did the first design start?

Jealous, No. Extremely impressed, Yes

That damn boat is going to be hanging over me for the rest of my life......
Again, I dont want any one to think I am putting his project down, to the contrary, it exceeds anything I have done and I would like to see it get even better then it already is. Its called Constrictive Criticism.

Constrictive Criticism
Considered judgment of or discussion about the qualities of something, especially a creative work.

I will admit that truck looks very impressive but I also have the same kind of feeling that Ed has. I know there was alot of thought involved with the design and building but it does have an unfinished feel to it. I would change a few things such as getting threaded LST shocks instead of those stock ones with the plastic spacers. I'd also go with the HCR body mounts instead of the stock plastic ones. Make it all metal. Some cosmetic things I would change are the color of the shock bodies, maybe get them anodized shiny silver like your previous piggyback shocks. I'd also get some custom heatsink heads for your Collaris, I think the gold looks out of place. I know it does on my Savage.

Super truck... good luck with your contests!!
