Thanks for the info digger, I'll be going with the crowd pleazer body.

I took her out for another tank today and the clutch is starting to slip. Using the stock flywheel with Savage shoes/springs right now. I'm going to swap in some mugen aluminum shoes and 1.1 springs to get more aggressive launches. After running another tank, I'm beginning to think the steering is not so bad after all, just had to get used to driving a large vehicle again. I can whip her around with just the tap of the brake and a quick twist of the wheel. Hope to get her fully broken in by Friday and hit the track to see how well she does in the dirt.

Nice truck u got there SD.

Really nice mod your doing on it too.
Would love to see a video of it running.

Got one yet?
If not can you please take one and post it onto here.
Would love to see it in action.

Thanks

Rush evo man

Thanks Rush. Maybe I will get some video soon. I'm still breaking her in so it's not much to see.

Installed the XTM XLB bumper today. Just had to drill two additional holes and everything else lines up.

I also installed mugen aluminum clutch shoes and 1.1 springs. Also used a 2mm diamter smaller flywheel than stock to give more clearance for the carb. We'll see how she goes tomorrow.

That's sweet SD.
I haven't even added the tank to mine yet. Got kinda low on the RC funds.

Good luck with it. Looking forward to some updates on how it does at the track.

I'm really excited to run it tomorrow. I have the day off so I should be able to finish break in.

Finish the break-in already!
Just need one tank the size you have.

J/K

Got anything else planned for it right away?
Just running it and adding any improvements as you see fit?

Would be interesting to see yours and a stock one racing.

yay, u can finish the break-in.

That means that u can like drive it on the jumps and all that.
I think there's a vid coming are way. (hopefully)

:D

Just the dadders braces which should arrive any day now. After that the only thing I will change is different tires depending on how these do at my local track. My budget for this project is pretty much exhausted.

how much did this project cost you then?

I could tell you but then I would have to kill you.

I ran the XTM one piece, OS, and JP1 pipes today. So far I like the JP1 the best, it has the strongest bottom and middle end, and just a hair less top end than the OS.

WOO HOO! a vid, finaly.

a good one too. Looks really fast. Sounds really nice too.

I don't know if it's too lean, or too rich, but i doesn't sound like it's tuned right
is it?

bro.. That is sounding nice. video is sweet too! Pretty quick like I thought it would be. And that's probably not the sweet spot either. I guess that's what you were doing when I tried calling you awhile ago. You just had too show jon and I up...didn't ya lol

That's pretty sweet bro!

How are you liking the handling so far?
Going to try to get out to the track this weekend? How about another vid when you do?

Damn, I need a nitro fix! Haven't ran anything this year. They put up a gate on the property I was bashing on. Got a couple of places in mind, but I haven't checked them out.

Welcome to the site R9. Good to see ya on here.

Man, that is sick! can't wait to get my truggy!
