Quick video of a run in the street in front of my house Monday.
Cold outside and windy. Locked in 2nd gear, little traction with the cold tires. I spun the tires at almost 50mph just before I turned on the camera and lost control. Several cartwheels later it landed on all 4’s with no damage except for a scar on the gps.

No more testing or 3d gear until the weather warms up and I can get some heat in the tires.

It's alive,...gunna do any more mods while you await fair weather?

My last few runs with the wheels, all 4 were actually decently warm after each pass. The temp that day was about 47-50f but super windy. How cold was it in this video? I can't imagine the grip these wheels will have on a warm summer day.

Cartwheels are no fun esp at high speed. Glad nothing broke

I’m building a couple of 3speed transmissions for it, each with a different 3rd gear ratio to see which will best suite the setup for top speed.

It was about 54F when I made that run. The day before I was testing it in 1st gear at a concrete oval and it was 64F and I had much better traction.
Last summer when I was testing the twin engine build with ambient temps in the 80’s using the XO-1 tires on the rear; the grip was much, much better.
You will know when the tires get really good heat in them; they get sticky to the touch and will start picking up debris.
