Just thought I'd share a project I've been working on for a few weeks now.

The body is from a 1/10 JadaToys RC I picked up at Wal-Mart.The RC was actually kinda cool. It had extra wheels and it's got bright blue LED's in each of the wheel wells that light up the ground and lots of other cool little things. The plan is to make this body fit on a Trinity T-Spec and make it into a drifter. If I measure everything right it should fit nicely on the T-Spec chassis. I also plan on putting head lights and working tail/brake lights on it as well.I also may take the LEDs and a few other lights from the Jada Toys RC and adapt them to work on the T-Spec chassis as well. I still have a bit of sanding to do on the body itself. Some of the original lines are still visible and need touched up before I apply the final paint. I also have to figure out I'm going to do about the lenses for the head lights and tail lights. As you can see in the pics they are blue plastic and look kinda funny.I've got a few ideas on how to get around that though.I just thought I'd share my winter project and maybe get some ideas and opinions.

damn that thing is nice love the light idea!! i gotta get a project like that!
cool

I did have one question and was hoping somebody could let me know about this. The T-Spec chassis has a 10" wheelbase and that is the only thing I don't understand how to measure for??

The T-Spec most likely has a 260mm wheelbase, so that's what you'd measure at. I'm not completely positive about that, though.

I'm glad someone else is making a drifter. I use my XXX-S and I have tons of fun with it. Good luck with the project and keep us posted.

It has a 254mm wheelbase but I'm not sure what that means?? Where do you take the measurement from? Is it from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel?
