Problems with Slash

Hey Guys,

Anybody having problems keeping secrews in their Slash? It seems like everytime I run that truck, I am loosing the shock mount screws or the chassis screws from underneath the truck. I can't thread lock them because most of the time the screws are going into plastic. Has anybody used an after market screw kit, and if so which one? Any other ideas would be greatly apreciated.

Half the time I dont use thread lock because it wont stay locked, so I just use a drop of super glue and that pretty much always holds, or even super glue gel.

i think locktite makes thread locker for plastic now.

My old rusty and pede had this problem from taking them apart so many times. I just put a little super glue on a tooth pick and put a thin layer in the screw holes. Some holes took 3-4 layers, but when you get the right amount, they bite like they should.

Thanks for the tips guys.... I apreciate it. Is there an aftermarket screw kit out there by chance that is worth the money? I am missing like 4 screws off the truck as it stands now.

I have had this problem with my slash. As others have stated i used Super glue also.

Had the same problem. Took the easy way out and sold it. Now, I'm getting a truck and building a
25g nano reef tank.
