I'm having a problem with revo and turmoil.....both have the same problem....when i use the easy start on the revo the motor will turn a few times then hang up and the starter spins out....i have the same problem with my turmoil witch has a stick starter (<not sure if thats right term) with a hexagon fitting and has the same problem......

Sounds like you may need to either clean or replace the One Way Bearing (OWB) on the back of the motor. It could be worn out, or just plain dirty. I would start there and see what you can find when you pull the engine/starter backplate off.

Also...this may be obvious to me, but have you checked to make sure the motor is not flooded? That would also cause it to lock up. Pull the glow plug and see if the motor spins freely. If it does, run the starter on it with the plug out for a few seconds to clear it out, then put the plug back in and try again.

na i havent messed with them for a while....its not a flooding issue...ill try the one way trick tomm....and get back with ya..

thanks that seemed to work well....bearing didn't look dirty, sprayed it w/wd40 wiped it off and the motor continuously turns over now...thanks i really appreciate the advice.....:)

Switch to Trinity Monster Horse Power 30% fuel. That fuel hardly causes any OWB issues. Runs cool and makes great power.

thanx for the advice....ya i think its a bout time for a new motor...
