Ok I can't seem to get my AX10 working superb as I dump more money into it, now I need another 75mhz rx. Anyways, when I am crawlin and need to full pin the wheel left or right my headlights dim out almost off and my throttle has no response in forward or reverse. As soon as I release my wheel from fully pinned left or right the headlights light back to full brightness and I can continue with my run. Anyone have any idea what this may be caused from? I have a brand new 4400 battery in it so I dont think its the battery because I had another 4400 pack and never had this problem!!

Thanks Guys,

Yes, you need an external BEC from Castle Creations set at atleast 6v.

BEC for you....

I also notice when I release wheel from a full pin it hops as the tension releases, I have always ran a 4400 and never had any problems before and not sure how to set the servo up prior to installing the alumminum arm for the link.

X2, what is happening is your steering servo is pulling so much power from the ESC built in BEC that the lights do not have enough juice to run and it causes problems with the ESC not getting the signal from the Rx. I used to have the same problem with my AX10, the hi torque steering servos just draw to much juice, By running a external BEC that runs directly of of your main battery pack you eliminate the weak internal built in one on the ESC and get constant full power to all of your electronics just like you would if you pluged in a RX pack to your Rx but with out the bulk and added weight....:D
