Thanks my friend.

One other question now that I am thinking about it.... maybe you can answer?

I have a 1/8 scale buggy and a TMaxx..... I want to race and bash. Do you recomend I carry different types of springs for these, and if so what types of springs to you recomend I carry?

Thanks

Tom

I have never raced, so I can't give you specifics. But most racers will make sure they have supplies that will match whatever track they run on. The types of springs and oils will be determined by the conditions of the tracks. Smooth, blue-groove tracks will set up differently than loamy, bumpy tracks. That's the best I can say. I'm sure there are others here who can give you a bit more insight...

I think most racers would recommend a softer setup of springs and lower wt. oil for the track and heavier springs and thicker oil for bashing.
You want the truck to be able to handle the turns faster and soak up ruts with the softer setup and take heavy impacts for bashing.
I used the trinity blue "heavy" springs on my first maxx, and they are perfect for jumping.
They do pretty good on the smaller stuff too.
