  1. Bashing
I've figure it out that i have 1 servo dead what sould i do buy the same model or upgrade it or if i upgrade it do i need to change both of them ?? i currently have 2X 2055 traxxas

If you upgrade and want to keep 2 servos, they should be the same. 2055s are pretty cheap and are adequate for bashing. >200 oz torque recommended for racing with a single servo. I have a Hitec 5645 w/ 172 oz/in and it is fine for my bashing. It was like 50 or 60 bones.

Those servos should be perfect then. You'll notice a big difference, especially when you only have one 2055 working right now. Really good price too.
A single servo works the same way as 2 servos really. They both connect to the same steering arm. You just use one side of the arm.

The 5645 is 164oz. The 985MG is 172oz. Regardless, one of either should do the job.

The MG995's aren't bad for the money, but they don't center well. You'd be better off running just one or you will more than likely have them fighting each other all the time and both will burn up. I run one in my jato for steering and it easily overpowers the servo saver. I've had it in that thing for over a year, maybe almost two years now. It's kind of tough to drive at high speeds though due to the centering issues. But I don't to a lot of high speed running.

I run a single MG995 in my Revo...works very very well. I completely agree that running 2 will probably end up killing both servos prematurely though. The single servo conversion is pretty simple. Pick a side...mount the servo...and either cut your steering arm or buy the Pro-Line Aluminum arm. Also replace the Servo Saver with the heavy Duty one.

what the problem if i continue he use the normal stering saver ??

The servo can over-power the servo saver and cause a loss of control.

do you refer only to the spring or the whole assembly ?

thx a lot guys ! but whiout the defective one connected its not that bad for now :) thx my revo running fine now :)
