I just bought a full set of Hard Anodized aluminum shock bodies and the aluminum shock caps, both Losi parts, and the problem is of the four shock caps I got... only one will thread onto the shock bodies.

Anyone else had this problem? I would think it was common if I had 3 bad ones.

I can't see anything wrong with the threads on any of the bad ones, they just refuse to go on the shock bodies.

Have you tried to assembe them without any oil..just dry?

yep, it's the only way I have tried it actually. I look at the threads on the shock caps, and they all look good, no burs or anything. The one cap that does work, will go on all the other shock bodies just fine. It's like the manufacturers used the wrong tap on the three caps that won't work. I just wondered if this was a common problem, or known issue, or if my luck is just that good (bad)...

I read a few posts about that in a LST forum I'm at... I don't recall the "fix". I think some just forced it on while others sent them to horizon for replacement.
