I have a Predator Truck made by KPG I think ?

The only thing about this dam thing I can not find a single part let alone a good website with information for this truck.

Runs with Nitro a 1/8 scale .

I finally got the engine running somewhat lmao .. still needs tuning but getting there.

I need the following parts
- Rear diff.
-tires
-control arms

Anyone know where I can find parts or where to look cause I am running out of options getting annoyed with the fact that when I search get results for a plane its a truck lmao

Pics would be helpful. Some r/c manufactuers sell products under various names.
You do not have to use the stock parts unless this is a restoration....
Tons of options out there. Take the truck to a hobby shop and see what you can make fit it. Been there, done that many a time.

I am not looking to restore to original.
There was 3 hobby shops last year around my area now there is only one and I have already been there with the truck with no luck.

Anyone who wants to see pics follow this link and my truck is identical to it .

thanks for your reply

That's not a bad lookin' rig for being off-brand. I'd say your best bet would be to take the individual diff parts to the hobby shop and bug them to look through stuff and hope to find one that you can make work. You may be able to find a ring and pinion that matches or can be modified to work. Another option is to find a machine shop that is equipped to make parts this small. This is a huge long shot but you never know. If all else fails, you may be able to find someone on this site that is willing to give it a shot. Lot's of members parts stock pile would shame most lhs'.

I was also wondering let's say I can not find anything for this truck.

Since the engine I have I think its called force 12 myth be wrong on this.
but anyways the engine should fit in praticly any model right ?
so.....is it possible to buy a naked frame with the wheels and everything and I could transfer the engine and the servo.
This would solve my problem to getting parts could buy one that is known by many?

Cause I ask that question to the hobby shop here and they only sale RTR car's and truck's .
But I dont know this hobby shop is not the greatest place to deal with all they want is you to buy a new one.
when I went in there he looked at it for like 10 sec. and then he told me there was nothing he could get for it .

But I am getting kinda confused on this many sites that are in the UK are selling that truck but noone else lmao.

ah well hope this help you on helping me lmao
I want this thing to run properly lol the wheel is wobbling lmao can't jump too high either need control arm made out of plastic? that was a stupid move lol

anyways thanks for you reply

and thanks in advance for future help and hopefully I will be able to know enough eventually and help others
still a newbie lol

That engine sounds like it's a .12. Very small for any truck. Maybe you can put the front diff in the rear? They might be the same. I'd start thinking about saving up and moving on. Check out ebay for Maxx's and Savages. Or any number of good, brand name rc's that you can find parts for.

Honestly, I would not waste any money on it. It's a turd. Sell what you can off of it and buy a more up to date r/c from a reputable manufactuer. You'll spend a fortune trying to keep that truck running and never have any fun.

Buy another truck easier said then done .
I like this truck, I knew the person that had it before me and they had it for 3 years and they did not change nothing either then the glow plug ....to me its not a money grabber.

I just dont see why I would spend money I another truck .
I know this is a hobby and all but like there is gotta be something I can do.

The frame on this is all metal execpt for the control arms, thats why I want to change them .

So...again the only way I really want to buy another one is if I can get a frame and all but without the engine and transfer over then that would be a option for me .

Just so you know its not all about fun for me........fun for me is repairs.
I like to fix things I hate just trowing it away.

For exemple my old car the engine was done did a complete rebuilt on it piston, rings oversize , shave the heads. thats my fun.

thanks for your reply ......

also......lets say I try to find a used truck but with a blown engine what do I half to look for to see if the engine could be swap from one to the other.

thanks again

The engine on your truck is too small for a truck and it's hard to fix something that you can't get parts for. Let's say you picked up a used nitro rustler. They're a small, 2wd stadium truck. But even they come with a .15 engine. So your .12 would likely run hot, even if you were able to make it fit. It would be too much trouble to try and rig a generic engine into a vehicle when the specific engine for this vehicle is $70, new. If your set on fixing the truck you have, prepare to search ebay daily, hoping something pops up. As for the arms being plastic; they're supposed to be. That way they flex when they encounter an impact. Aluminum arms are heavier and are likely to bend. Good luck. Let us know if you're ever able to find what you need for it.

Thanks for all your reply's.

One more question lol....trying to explore all my options here.
Still waiting on a e-mail from a store in the UK to see if they can get the parts but who knows.

But anyways would it possible then to keep the frame but change all wheel and hub and let say bring it down to a 2 wheel drive ?

I want to keep this frame in a way one I like the look of it , 2 its in solid metal not plastic . 3. its small so if I put a .15 engine on it hey hey more speed lol

For those plastic control arm ....I dont think there very good all I did was jump a ditch and the lower control arm pin close the the wheel bent out and disconnected from the control arm . I force it back straight its ok now but still have a little wobble and would not jump high like that again until I know it can handle it.

Will keep looking for this truck something must be able to be done.

thanks alot again your reply are helpfull

thanks
